Rome Zoo

The Rome Zoo or "Bioparco" has experienced quite dramatic changes in the last four years. Most of the area has been renovated to offer a friendly environment to their animal guests. Today this is one of the most advanced zoos, entirely focused on conservation and education. Exotic animals are being phased out and eventually only animals compatible with the local climate will remain.
